Arkansas tiene 98 agencias de aplicación de la ley inscritas en el programa 287(g) de ICE, el cuarto mayor número de cualquier estado, que abarca cárceles de condado, la policía estatal y el sistema penitenciario estatal. Una ley estatal de 2025 ahora obliga a la cooperación local con ICE, y la aplicación se ha concentrado en lugares como la cárcel del condado de Benton, que ha canalizado a cientos de detenidos hacia la agencia.
